Need a German e-invoice (XRechnung / ZUGFeRD)?

From 2025, B2B businesses in Germany are increasingly required to issue structured e-invoices. Pistacio generates XRechnung- and ZUGFeRD-compliant invoices straight from projects and time tracking.

§14 UStG mandatory fields

This template includes all mandatory fields required by § 14 (4) UStG: full names and addresses, tax number / VAT ID, issue date, sequential invoice number, quantity and description of the service, service date, net amount per VAT rate, and VAT amount. For small businesses (§19 UStG) the VAT breakdown is replaced by an exemption notice.

Invoice sent. But who handles numbering, VAT rates and e-invoicing?

Pistacio produces XRechnung- and ZUGFeRD-compliant invoices straight from projects and time tracking — no spreadsheet templates.

Legal basis: § 14 UStG (mandatory invoice fields) and § 19 UStG (small-business VAT exemption). This generator produces a formally correct invoice but is not a substitute for tax advice. Structured B2B e-invoices (XRechnung / ZUGFeRD) require dedicated software.

All benchmarks and calculations are based on data available in 2026 and are not legally binding.
