1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pistacio platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pistacio provides a web-based time tracking, project management, and business operations platform for organizations. The Service includes features for time tracking, leave management, expense logging, task management, and client visibility.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Transmit malware or other harmful code
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected. Prices are per user and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. You are responsible for all applicable taxes. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Enterprise plans may include specific SLA commitments.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which you may export it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pistacio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless prohibited by local law.
